We have invited some of the area's most reputable chefs to share with us their select recipes. Whether it is a nibble on an appetizer, a sip of a cocktail, a savory entree, or a mouth-watering dessert, A Taste of Southern New Hampshire is designed to give a flavor of the exquisite cuisine available throughout this delectable region. Many of the items included in this book are signature dishes from distinct restaurants. These are, of course, only morsels of the vast dining choices available throughout Southern New Hampshire. While we cannot include every restaurant, or every recipe, we did aspire to provide a delicious array to welcome individuals to the area. We hope this compilation provides an edifying experience of the local cuisine, as well as an introduction to the land in which restaurants are located, and ultimately an enriching sense of community for visitors as much as residents.

From colonial mill towns to flourishing metropolises, both Manchester and Nashua bestow an impressive array of attractions, entertainment, business ventures, and revitalization efforts, all grounded within each of the cities' core heritage. As such, many are finding Southern New Hampshire a tremendous resource and an attractive location to reside in. As the premise for this publication is derived from and anchored in the vibrant activity, cultural diversity, and superior quality of life that Manchester, Nashua, and the surrounding communities have to offer, it should come as no surprise that there is a multitude of dining choices to choose from. 

Excerpts from A Taste of Southern New Hampshire - This publication is an inspiration of the Greater Manchester/Nashua Board of REALTORS® (GMNBR), located in Bedford, NH, and is being put forth in an effort to bring awareness to the REALTOR® organization and its community efforts. The term “REALTOR®” is a registered trademark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR). Representing over 1.2 million members, NAR is the largest trade association in the world, and is established as The Voice for Real Estate. Founded in 1908, NAR currently has more than 1,400 local associations and boards, such as GMNBR, and 54 state and territory associations. As a member of the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS® (NHAR), GMNBR is the largest of fourteen boards in the state and has just over 1,500 members working with buyers and sellers in sixteen cities and towns in southern New Hampshire.
